El proyecto surgió de las cenizas de una de tantas reformaciones de YEAH, alejándose del glam metal de los '80s y entrando en el espectro más melódico del hard rock y el AOR.

 

Para ello Max (batería) y Astroboy (voz y teclados) se unieron a Ariel Diraug (guitarra, proveniente de Calle Sin Fin, Attika, Azulejo y Genocidio, entre otras) y una larga procesión de bajistas. La banda se consolidó con Ariel haciéndose cargo del bajo y Sebastian Oms en guitarra, y debutó en The Road (22-septiembre-2000) con el nombre de MACBETH.

 

Comenzando la grabación del primer demo, Oms abandonó repentinamente la banda y Ariel cubrió los puestos de guitarra y bajo para la grabación.

 

La banda sufrió luego un receso debido a la partida de Ariel (radicado actualmente en Chile) y Astroboy más abocado a su rol de vocalista en SENSACIONAL PLASMA, banda con la que se presentó junto a Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks) y Vince Neil (Mötley Crüe) entre otros. Pero debido a diferencias en los musical con el resto de Plasma, Astroboy retomó el proyecto junto a Max y a ellos se le unieron Pablo Bevacqua en bajo y Emmanuel Graglia en guitarra.

 

Con esta formación y habiendo cambiado el nombre por el de LADY MACBETH se presentaron en varios lugares del circuito under capitalino, y tras un show en AcaTraz, Emmanuel se alejó de la banda dejándole el puesto a Diego Barbaro (proveniente de Gran Inmortal), logrando solidificar el sonido con una base más heavy que en la formación anterior. 

A mediados de 2004 con la inclusión de Luke Young en teclados y Lady Marian en coros, se realizaron varias presentaciones en vivo se grabó un EP en los estudios Bourbon Records con la participación de Damian Torrisi en la operación técnica, arreglos y colaboración en teclados.

Terminando la grabación las diferencias con Lucas derivaron en su partida de la banda, retomando Astroboy el rol de tecladista y cantante.

En abril de 2006 Diego se separó de la banda, y fue reemplazado por Alejandro Pfanner. Luego de algunas presentaciones en vivo, Lady Marian se alejó para concentrar la atención en su propio proyecto. 

A fines de 2006 la banda comenzó la producción de su primer album, titulado "Eye OF The Moon", nuevamente en los Bourbon Studios, y culminando la grabación Max decidió abandonar la banda siendo reemplazado por Vladimir Toncovich, joven profesor y estudioso de percusión.Al poco tiempo se incorporó Sabrina Moff en voces y luego de  algunas presentaciones en vivo Alejandro abandonó la banda, dando lugar a un enérgico show con dos viejos amigos como invitados en guitarra: Fito Belén (ex Rojo Caliente y Fastidio) y Jaky Van Diest (ex-Yeah y JVD), renovando el sonido de la banda y abriendo un nuevo capítulo, quedando Jaky como miembro estable.

Luego de la edición de "Eye Of The Moon" (con muy favorables críticas en argentina y el exterior), la inclusión de algunos temas del album en distintos compilados, la participación en dos discos tributos con temas exclusivos ("Tributo al Pop 80s" y "Tributo A Whitesnake", Medusa records)  y varios shows en vivo, la formación volvío a sufrir nuevos cambios, quedando como únicos miembros estables Astroboy, Pablo y Jaky, quienes en la actualidad se encuentran preparando el segundo álbum de estudio con músicos invitados.

 

 

El ESTILO musical se encuentra entre el AOR y el hard rock, no muy difundido en Sudamérica pero muy reconocido actualmente en Europa y Japón de la mano de bandas como Ten, Harem Scarem, Talisman, Takara, The Sign, Drive She Said, Seventh Key, Fair Warning, Dreamtide, Harlan Cage, House Of Lords, los íconos americanos Survivor y Journey y los recordados Europe. Donde los riffs de teclados le disputan el protagonismo a la más virtuosa guitarra, donde los solos flotan sobre una fuerte base cercana al heavy metal y las voces dibujan líneas muy melódicas entre coros y arreglos. Las letras no tienen una temática única pero sí un idioma: el inglés.

 

 

 

This project arises from the ashes of one of many YEAH teams, leaving the rows of Glam Metal heading to the AOR and hard rock style.

 

Max (drums) and Astroboy (vocals and keyboards) joined forces with Ariel Diraug (guitar, from bands such Calle Sin Fin, Attika, Azulejo and Genocidio, among others) and a long list of bass players. Finally Ariel took the bass and Sebastian Oms joined as guitar player, being The Road in september 22th, 2000 the first gig, under the name of MACBETH.

 

During the recording of the first demo, Oms suddenly left the band and Ariel played guitars and basses.

 

Then the band was frozen because of the moving of Ariel to Chile (were he is living now), and Astroboy playing with SENSACIONAL PLASMA, band that was opening act for Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks) and Vince Neil (Mötley Crüe) among others. But musical differences with the Plasma's guys made Astroboy leaving the band and rejoining the project with Max and newcomers Pablo Bevacqua on bass and Emmanuel Graglia on guitar.

 

With this line-up and having turned to LADY MACBETH the band played many Buenos Aires underground clubs, and after a show in AcaTraz (a superb place for gigs), Emmanuel left and was replaced by Diego Barbaro (from a heavy metal band named Gran Inmortal), defining a heavier and more solid sound.

With Luke Young on keyboards and Lady Marian on background vocals the band played some gigs in 2004, and recorded an EP at Bourbon Records studios, with the colaboration of Damian Torrisi on the technical operation, arrangements and keyboard extra playing.

But during the recording, differences with Lucas ended up with his departure from the band, making Astroboy go back to the keyboards.

On april 2006 Diego left the band, and Alejandro Pfanner took the place.

After some live gigs Lady Marian also left the band to focus on her own project.

On the late 2006 the band entered Bourbon Studios for the recording of their first full length album called "Eye Of The Moon". At the ending of the sessions Max left the band, being replaced by Vladimir Toncovich, a young professor and passionate percussion investigator. Next Sabrina Moff joined on vocals and after some live shows Alejandro left the band, but two old friends took the place for a high power show, mean Fito Belén (from Rojo Caliente and Fastidio) and Jaky Van Diest (from Yeah and JVD), opening a new chapter on the band's history when Jaky stood as a formal member.

After the official release of "Eye Of The Moon" and the good critics around the world, it came the inclusion of exclusive cover versions in two tribute records ("Tributo al Pop 80s" y "Tributo A Whitesnake", Medusa records), many live gigs and new movements in the band line-up, being Astroboy, Pablo and Jaky the only stable members, working nowadays on the second studio album with special guests.

 

Musical STYLE: Somewhere between AOR (Adult Oriented Rock) and Hard Rock. Not a popular kind of music in South America, but much appreciated in Europe and Japan, with bands like Ten, Harem Scarem, Talisman, Takara, The Sign, Drive She Said, Seventh Key, Fair Warning, Dreamtide, Harlan Cage, House Of Lords, the american icons Survivor and Journey and the missed Europe. A style where keys and synths' riffs challenge the leading of a virtuoso guitar, and the solos raise from a heavy metal base while vocals draw very melodic lines among multilayered choruses. Lyrics don't have a unique topic, but are written in english, the rock's best languaje... in spite of coming from a spanish speaking country.
